Student Photo ID

Student photo identification cards are the property of Laurentian University and are used by University faculties, services and staff to identify you as a student and to give access to campus services. Upon request, this photo identification card must be shown to authorized University officers. The photo identification card must also be presented for identification at exams.

You must keep your photo identification card for the duration of your studies at Laurentian University. When you graduate, please present your photo identification card at the Borrower Services desk and they will print a new one with an Alumni logo free of charge.

Getting a student photo identification card

You may obtain a student photo identification card from the myLaurentian Hub located on the first floor, R.D. Parker Building (formerly known as the Registrar’s Student Service Centre).

Lost Photo ID cards

  • Report a lost photo identification card immediately by contacting myLaurentian Hub. Be ready to provide your name, student number and date you lost your card.
  • To obtain a replacement photo identification card, you must go to myLaurentian Hub and pay the applicable administrative fees.

Warning

Use of another student's photo identification card and the alteration or falsification of a student photo identification card are prohibited and subject to sanction pursuant to the University's policies, including its policy on academic fraud.
